Free the Child (FTC) is a UK registered charity founded in 2007 founded by Elizabeth Williams to serve and support underprivileged and abused children and young people in the UK and internationally. The charity has run projects including Bounce Back, Health is wealth, Way Up and Postcode Peace, through indoor and outdoor workshops.
Through the educational and creative activities, young people are educated on the dangers and consequences of drug, sexual, and physical abuse, crime, peer pressure, and are encouraged to live a safe and healthy lifestyle.Our services provide an opportunity for everyone to be actively involved in a number of recreational activities, click here for more information on our projects.
NIGERIA
Free the Child Nigeria is born out of a vision to serve underprivileged children and orphans, and to enable them to fulfill their potential. Free the Child's 'Margaret Home Orphanage' caters for 20 young orphans and abandoned children, providing them with food, shelter, education, clothes and train them to grow into creative and responsible adults therefore breaking the cycle of poverty and hopelessness. SIERRA LEONE
Free the Child Sierra Leone caters for orphans aged 6 to 12 years through our care home in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We provide counseling and emotional support and fulfill the material and physical needs of both the deprived and underprivileged children.
