You can get involved as a service user or volunteer. Here are some ways you could get involved as a volunteer:
- Volunteer youth worker
For support and mentoring during workshops and activities.
- Activity leader/ coordinator
As an activity leader you’ll be involved in implementing new projects and organising events for the charity.
- Counselor
Child abuse is the physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect of children. While most child abuse happens in the child's home, some involve children from churches, schools, child care businesses, and residential schools. It also can occur almost anywhere. As an experienced and qualified counselor you can empower those abused in a non-judgemental environment.
You can also get involved as a fundraiser either through buskers in your local area or other creative methods! Whatever it may be, we want to hear from you.
Join our Workshops
We hold ongoing activity workshops every Tuesday, 6-8pm for all young people at the Free the Child center in Wood Green, North London and are open on a daily basis as a walk in center.
Youth groups from the neighbouring boroughs are also welcome to join for our workshops.
