What work will my donation go towards?

Your donation will help adress our UK and International vision. It will pay for the housing, education, wellbeing and care of our young orphans in Nigeria and Sierra Leone, and towards projects and educational support for your youngsters in the UK.

How can I get involved in the charity?

You can join as a beneficiary (or service user) and get to know other young people like you. If you're 18 and over you can decide to join as a volunteer youth worker , an activity coordinator or event organiser. Simply fill in this form stating how you will like to get involved or contact us to be part of Free the Child charity.

What age groups do you cater to?

We cater to children and young people aged 8-21 and run specific projects that address the issuses they faced  in today's society.

Do I need to have qualifications before I can join as a volunteer youth worker?

All you need is the passion and drive to work with children. Previous experience is desired but not necessary and we will train you with the skills required to be a first class volunteer.

What is a CRB. How do I go about getting mine?

CRB is the Criminal Records Bureau which helps protect children and vulnerable adults, and anyone working with children will need a valid CRB form. You can get more information or fill one in from here, alternatively, FTC can provide you with the form and work with you in filling it in.
